The Autism SourceTM Resource Database, created in 2004, is the most comprehensive database of its kind. The Autism Society strives to offer only credible and reliable resources to our constituents, therefore we have employed our nationwide network of affiliates and collaborated with other autism organizations and professionals throughout the U.S. It is because of these collaborative relationships that the Autism SourceTM Resource Database continues to grow and is kept current with comprehensive resource listings.
Autism and Asperger Connection's mission is to promote communication between families, individuals and professionals in the Colorado Springs community to provide autism support, information and resources.
The Autism Society “exists to improve the lives of all affected by autism”. The Autism society is instrumental in “increasing public awareness about the day-to day issues faced by people on the spectrum, advocating for appropriate services for individuals across the lifespan, and providing the latest information regarding treatment, education, research and advocacy”.
“Autism Speaks is North America’s largest autism science and advocacy organization. The organization is dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Autism speaks’ family resources include the Autism Video Glossary, a 100 Day Kit for newly diagnosed families, a School Community Tool Kit and a community grant program”.
The Attention Deficit Disorder Association provides information, resources and networking opportunities to help adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder lead better lives. Although this is a site for adults it provides helpful resources for individuals of all ages with ADHD/ADD.
ADDitudemag.com offers helpful resources for Parenting and ADHD children, these topics include, but aren’t limited to the following: discipline, behavior therapy, hyperactive children, making friends, parenting skills, schedules and time, organizational help, health, eating, sleep problems, self-esteem, etc.
CHADD's primary objectives are: to provide a support network for parents and caregivers; to provide a forum for continuing education; to be a community resource and disseminate accurate, evidence-based information about ADHD to parents, educators, adults, professionals, and the media; to promote ongoing research; and to be an advocate on behalf of the ADHD community.
This website consists of Terry Matlen’s musing on motherhood and ADD/ADHD. This website is a forum for women with ADD/ADHD filled with book resources, ADD/ADHD products, and articles.

An excellent website of an organization especially for parents of gifted (exceptionally bright) children with resources and links to helpful articles, books and other organizations.
